COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Community involvement has been a very important part of my life and I have served on various local church and educational committees and as a director of our local Community Centre. My coaching experience has been in baseball, bowling and hockey and many school sports teams. I retired from a 37 year career as a volunteer firefighter for Haldimand County, Station #5 Canfield.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND AND INTERESTS
I was born in and raised in Dunnville. Presently, I have resided in the Canfield area for more than 40 years and was a teacher and principal with the Haldimand Board of Education and then Grand Erie District School Board. Many of you might have been "Student of the Week" and received jelly beans from my dispenser at the schools where I worked.
My previous work in education has given me the experience of assisting people achieve their goals and dreams and has given me a solid foundation in working and helping people. It is with this experience that I will help you achieve your dream of finding the perfect home.
In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, golfing and reading a good book. I took up hunting when I retired and have yet to get any big game but have been able to snag a few small ones. I enjoy the camaraderie of being with the guys at the hunt camp and fishing on Lake Erie from our cottage with my best friends.
My years of experience with the Haldimand County Fire Department has led to some great times and many good friends. In 2013, a new Fire Hall was opened for the Canfield Dept. and it was a very exciting time. It is reassuring to know that our homes continue to be safe, thanks to this amazing group of individuals. I continue to be an active Senator for the Fire Department in organizing Senator's Nights and the Annual Firefighters' Dinner in December.
After living in the Haldimand area for over 60 years, I have extensive knowledge of the area and can employ these skills to assist you in your real estate needs.
